Anni Li is a first-year Master student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering - Machine Learning and Data Science Program at the University of Southern California. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Neural Computation. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a student researcher in Duarte Lab and contributed to the development of Generative Adversarial Particle Transformer (GAPT) aimed at discovering Higgs bosons and unveiling novel physics theories using data derived from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As she furthers her academic pursuits at USC, Anni aspires to become a machine learning engineer who deploys the integration of machine learning algorithms and hardware platforms to facilitate scientific research as well as to make everyday life more efficient and enriched for all.
